Throughout the next few days, you may find yourself plagued by visions and dreams of back home. The dreams will be lifelike and difficult to tell apart from reality, as the world will be constructed from what you remember of your world. However, unlike usual dreams, you won't be present, and will find yourself unable to be seen or heard by those around you.
The dreams are vivid reminders of what might happen in a world without you: a world in which you disappeared when coming to Hadriel, a world which desperately needs you back for some reason or another. You may see your parents putting up missing posters, your significant other moving onto their next relationship, or even your hated villain finally taking over the world without you there to stop them.
When the vision leaves, you're back here and nothing about the city has changed. Though maybe you have a different outlook on it now...► This log covers January 4th-Januray 8th.
► Please tag headers of threads with content warnings where they apply
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!
► If you try a weird solution to make it back home, please let us know here.

"As if anyone would forget me, as if things would not have progressed as they should have without my intervention." Good thing that Starscream's ego is so huge that he's not entirely phased by the visions, aside from being grumpy and annoyed of the sheer audacity of some of them.
"Have you had them too?"
no subject
"Yes. Yours sound similar to the ones I had," the medic replied easily, pausing obligingly in his weapons maintenance to give Starscream his attention. "Feeling a little shuffled off to the side, are we?"
no subject
"Lord Megatron wouldn't have chosen me over that...that brute, Dreadwing either. You can't possibly think that any of these visions are true. It's all those...gods doing anyway."
Said with a flippant wave of his hand and a roll of his eyes. Honestly Knock Out don't get so bent out of shape.
no subject
"Technically he did choose you over Dreadwing when he punched a cannon blast through Dreadwing's chassis," the medic pointed out. But it was sounding like Starscream hadn't had the same kind of visions after all, and now Knock Out was even more curious.
no subject
"And that is precisely why these...visions or what not are completely unfounded." Aside from the ones he's seen where his lack of involvement led to a faster, easier, terraformed Earth. Or the one with a fully revived Cybertron, without him present of course to see it. He doesn't make mention of those, of course, because he's too full of himself to believe any of that to be true.
"You shouldn't let it...get to you. After all the gods of this planet tend to feed off our emotions for power. I wouldn't expect anything less from such treacherous beings. Using our deepest faults and thoughts for their own power. It's really no surprise why these null want to snuff out their sparks so badly."
no subject
"Who says I let it 'get to me'?" he countered. "Just answer me one thing: I am still listed as the Chief Medical Officer on the Nemesis, aren't I? That wasn't also given to Shockwave along with my projects?"
All right, he's a little sore-afted about that one bit.
no subject
"Of course. Shockwave might play mad scientist, but there is still only one medical officer that Lord Megatron trusted.

The reassurance that his vision had gotten at least that much wrong, no matter how trivial, does make him feel better.
"Speaking of the Null... I'd like to get my servos on one to get a better idea of what we're dealing with. Apparently if you wake any of the ones offlined around the city, they all know of it. So it seems best to deal with one... elsewhere."
no subject
"They are also able to...shapeshift dare I say like us in a way. Of course it's not the same, but I haven't come into contact with one to really assess whether or not they have a mechanism similar to our t-cogs in order to do so."
He waves a clawed hand before he puts them behind his back in thought. "The humans only have parts, but surely acquiring a whole specimen would be simple enough. I am curious to see for myself what exactly these...Null are."
no subject
"On the off-chance it's a distance thing, we'll need to be away from the city," he pointed out.
no subject
"Yes, yes, of course. Not that the city needs protecting, given the sorry state of it." But he'll be nice and make sure no humans are harmed...maybe.
