Intro Log: Ugh, Talk to the Hand

Where: The colosseum and all around the city.

Welcome to Hadriel. Your first glimpse of your new home is maybe not the most welcome - you awaken on the floor of the colosseum, surrounded by sand and walls and... trees? Yes, trees. Along with you and the other newcomers, a number of Territorial Oaks have arrived in Hadriel. They look just like normal trees, except for those welcoming smiles - oh, and they don't like you at all. They move fast, hit hard, and if you manage to bring one down it'll go out in a large, dangerous explosion. This may have you rethinking your stance on clear-cutting.

While you're trying to avoid the trees, you might come across a few of the other things the Door has deposited in the colosseum for your (its?) entertainment. Namely, a bunch of toys that no one has played with in years. But maybe one of them will tickle your fancy?

Once you've finished indulging your 90's nostalgia, feel free to look around. You can explore the rest of the city! Find a house, a new monster, a project to help with, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!

Kinda slim pickings right now, but that stuff's pretty good. Don't forget to grab some of it.

[She vaguely motions towards something cookie shaped?? Who knows. It's good, whatever it is. Shopping has been the one familiar venture about Hadriel that she's been able to take advantage of and with the new month, means she's got to grab some grub. She hasn't been here long enough to know whether this guy's completely new or if she simply hasn't come across him yet, but hey. It never hurts to be friendly.]

[Leon turns to look at the young girl then glances down at the cookies, raising an eyebrow and taking one between his hands, snapping it in half and taking a bite to taste them. Oh, wow, definitely delicious, they remind him of the cookies Cid used to bake for the group when he had more time and they are crunchy exactly how he likes them- still...]

Not really my taste, you can have them. By the way, you are...?

[It's his small reply as he offers the young girl the remaining half, he can do without when there are kids around who can probably enjoy them more.]

[She has a suspicion that his distaste for the cookie isn't entirely truthful, though she takes it from his hand regardless. It's a kind offer and she's not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.]

Really? Too bad. Guess we'll have to keep trying till we find a flavor you like.

[Not that there's a huge variety right now, but that's all the more reason to return later on, to see if she can find a few for him.]

[Well, he isn't certainly going to confirm his love for sweets with the first person he meets... even if the cookies were, indeed, delicious.]

Probably? I wouldn't complain for something sour or some good tea but there's hardly any real selection here. Well, unless you're looking for very specific things.

[He comments holding up a can of... rattlesnake meat he recovered earlier. Hardly something common in his world but while unusual he cannot deny it managed to capture his interest.]
