There's a secret burning in your chest. It's hot behind your ribcage, and you need to let it out or else it might consume you- but who would you tell? Who could even begin to understand what you need to say? Your closest friend? Your significant other? Maybe even someone you don't get along with very well? It's hard to know who to trust and who will even understand, but in a strange way, neither of those things seem to matter- all you can think of is what will cause someone the most pain.

Maybe you're trying to get it out in the open so you can put it behind you. Maybe you just need to come clean because the guilt is eating you alive. Maybe you just really want to hurt someone- regardless of the reason, you're aching to tell someone else your darkest secrets.

Will they understand? There's only one way to find out, and it won't be pleasant for either party involved. Good luck, Hadriel!

It's not you. He might think you're a little weird, but it's not you. It was Church and Tucker and Donut... not an issue anymore.

[evocation]

Oh, right.

[And then, in a lame attempt to cheer him up:]

Why does he think I'm weird? I'm totally not weird.

[hardwearing]

You're a little weird. And were glowing when you two met, apparently.

[evocation]

What? I was staying warm. We don't all have fancy space armor.

[hardwearing]

[ Okay now Wash is smiling slightly, because come on Kyna. That's weird. ]

Did you explain that? Or why you mentioned dreaming about him?

[evocation]

[She swats at him.]

I totally explained the dreaming thing! I think. Maybe.

[hardwearing]

[ Wash's smile broadens a little. ]

I think he still found it really weird to open with.

[evocation]

[She huffs.]

I'm bad at talking to people sometimes, okay? At least I didn't dream about making out with him or something.

[hardwearing]

Only when you get nervous. But there's no reason to be intimidated, as long as you're not fighting him.

[ His smile turns into a smirk. ]

You haven't?

[evocation]

[She actually looks a little offended by that.]

You don't think I could take him? And no. He's not my type.

[hardwearing]

Fine, unless you're me fighting him. Magic means you'd win.

What is your type?

[evocation]

Damn right I would.

[She grins, reaching up to touch his cheek.]

My type is guys that are too pretty for their own good.

[hardwearing]

[ The cheek she's touching blushes instantly, and Wash ducks his head a little. ]

Sometimes I'm not sure if you're full of it or just that biased. But I don't mind.

[evocation]

You're the one who's biased. Tucker said you were pretty, too.
