What: The intro log for July.
Where: The colosseum and all around the city.
When: July 10th-15th
Warnings: Deathclaws. That's all you really need to know.
As usual, the new arrivals in Hadriel will be waking up on the dirt ground of the colosseum, and as usual, they won't be waking up alone. This month brings coat hangers of all shapes and, uh, sizes strewn about the colloseum floor around all of the new arrivals.
Get up, get out, meet and greet, find some new exciting interior decorating options, but don't forget about the more prominent threat: the (newly) local deathclaws roaming about in the inner halls of the arena. These deathclaws are vicious bipedal creatures with long arms ending in curved talons, horns ripe for goring and, of course, teeth as long as fingers. These animals have been engineered to be as deadly as they can possibly be, so you might want to buddy up before taking one on.
Have you escaped from the deathclaws? Made a few friends? Not died horribly? Great! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers July 10th-15th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► All characters arrive with phones that have network communication.
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!

[There are indeed exit wounds on his back, but only two, as opposed to the three entry wounds]
Y' see anythin' interestin' back there?
[He has a few other scars, but nothing awful, just the sort of thing consistent with an active boy who got into a lot of scrapes and shenanigans, and most of them were pretty old.]

[That is very good news, right? At least it is delivered as such. And they didn't it anything very vital either, most likely, going by the path that they took through the guy's body.
The question now is, is the third bullet still there?
He circles back around to Corbin's front and then lays a hand flat against his stomach, over the scar that he assumes to have belonged to the bullet that didn't go right through. It's not very impressive because the hand isn't particularly large, and he's not waving around a stick or chanting some mysterious spell. He simply rests it there, concentrating, applying only very slight pressure, and then moves the hand around slowly.
The area is fairly large, and it doesn't help that he doesn't know exactly what he is looking for, but on the other hand he is specifically looking for something that doesn't belong in Corbin and that is most likely made of metal, which makes it significantly easier. He could search for its path instead, but who knows how much of that will even be left.]

[He really only remembers how much it hurt, so he wouldn't really be much help in figuring out where the bullet might be lodged. But he holds still all the same, at the very least he can humor the kid, since he seemed so very calm about it.]
[As far as anything foreign and metal that might be in Corbin's body, there's nothing there for Muscovy to find. It's not like it had never happened, there's scarring sure, but nothing vital seems to have been hurt, there's a bit of a chip in one of his ribs, but all in all he's just fine.]

[He doesn't really have a better description for what he's currently doing, really.
When he finds nothing metal, he frowns and raises the palm of his hand slightly so that only his fingertips touch Corbin's skin anymore, and then brings the palm back down as he looks for irregularities in the native body. It's not a strictly necessary gesture, but it functions as a break between two actions, and that is helpful for readjusting.
He finds nothing but remainders of a fully healed injury, though, and withdraws, dropping his hand with a nod.]
It is gone, and you are completely healed.
[If he doesn't sound more than mildly surprised, it is because he isn't - he hasn't observed this phenomenon here yet, but he's seen it before in another world. And besides, he already saw what it looked like on the outside.]
no subject
[He sounds more curious than anything, it's not hurting, and he's still not sure if the kid is just playing pretend or not. He seems very serious about it, but then again, Lonan had been very serious about her teddy bear talking to her at night when she was three.]
[He pulls his shirt back down when Muscovy is finished, smiling at him]
So'd you fix me all up, then?
Wut's yer name, kid?
[He's a little strange, but he seems nice]
no subject
But you can only look and stop after that, too. [It took him a good long while to figure that one out, too. It is like... poking around to see if there is a cake, instead of knowing that it is there and just checking it out for the best piece, so to speak.]
And I didn't have to fix you up, yes? I just looked and you were already healed.
I'm Muscovy M. Prochainezo. Who are you?
no subject
If'n you say so.
Muscovy. I'm Corbin Blair, it's nice t' meetcha.
[His name is nowhere near as fancy sounding]
no subject
You aren't hurt anywhere else, yes?
[He doubts it, but just to make sure.]
no subject
[He's still not really sure if Muscovy could look inside him, but he figured it never hurt to be polite.]
no subject
If you get hurt again later, you should come to the clinic, yes? It is down the road from here.
no subject
[he would have told Muscovy if he was hurt anywhere else, if for no other reason than to see if he really could heal like that. It'd be awfully handy]
no subject
[He starts to turn away.]
We will meet again, and you better not die because you don't get help, yes?
no subject
[And he does exactly as he says, pointer finger drawing an X over his chest.]
Take care'a yerself, Muscovy.
[He glances up at the fairy quickly, he was still a bit worried about that, but... it seemed to just be sitting there? So maybe it was, not a good fairy, but not an actively malicious one?]
no subject
Muscovy, meanwhile, is reminded of nodding not being the best option while he has someone on his head and just smiles instead.]
You as well.
[And with that, he will move on to the next person.]
