Waking up in Hadriel certainly has its down sides, but if this weird murdercave city is good at one thing, it's keeping people entertained. As you awaken on the hard ground of the colosseum, you might see a rectangular cardboard box lying near you. Ignore it for now, as you get your bearings, but if you get bored? Well, you'll find these exciting and unique board games will keep you entertained!
But how could you possibly get bored, when there are plenty of cute monsters around to keep you company? Sharing the colosseum with all the new arrivals are Tonberries. In addition to their natural cuteness defense, they also carry very large knives. They're slow-moving and look innocent and even friendly, but be careful - one strike from that knife and you'll be a bloody mess. They won't attack unless you get too close, but who doesn't want to hug a Tonberry? And of course, if you attack, they'll counter with extreme prejudice.
Managed to resist the urge to hug a Tonberry? Safely escaped from the clutches of the colosseum, new board game in tow? Awesome! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers September 10th-13th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► All characters arrive with phones that have network communication.
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!

[Like, he wasn't human anymore thanks to his curse, but come on. He hadn't stolen anything from anyone here! ...Yet. Maybe. He did kind of feel like they deserved it.
Man, he needs to find Emma.]
He had an axe and a small cannon. He tried to use them even after I told him I wasn't like that.

"Okay, most of us aren't like that. It's okay. Everybody is really nice." Not that he's revealed his own secret to anyone here. And listening to this guy's experience kind of shows that maybe he should keep it that way.
"The old guy was probably confused." Rin sounds less convincing at that last part. It bothers him that this guy was just attacked for no good reason.

[He definitely wasn't completely sane, as far as Warrick's concerned, but he didn't seem confused in the least. He seemed very convinced. Still, Warrick continues to trail behind.]
Is it like a...group? Of people like us?
no subject
Sort of like a band of misfits, he supposes.
"Take some time to explore. I'm sure you'll find more to like than to hate."
no subject
I was with a team sort of like that. People from all over, doing different jobs, but trying to do good for the world... I was just starting to get used to it.

Because Rin's hoping he will. He's been looking for his friends since day one. And he hasn't had any luck... Rin mentally sighs. He gives Warrick a grin.
"I mean, stranger things have happened in this place. Don't worry about it. Just take care of yourself as best as you can. That's what I've been doing."
no subject
[He does note that the likelihood is low, given Rin's words, but... Okay. Taking care of himself. He can do that. He's been doing that for a long time already.]
...How long have you been here? Do people ever get to leave?

"Wow, you must have a lot of friends! You must be really popular!"
Rin wishes he had that many friends, sometimes. But, his attitude, not to mention he never graduated middle school. He doesn't exactly have the skills to make a lot of friends.
"Hmm... only a month." Rin thinks on the last question. He really hopes people get to leave. Or else he's going to have problems. "Y'know, I never thought to ask..."
So, he doesn't have a clue. Sorry, Warrick.
no subject
Oh, no -- no, not at all, really. It was... It was just sort of like a company, that's all. [...] I...do have more friends now that I'm there. More than I ever thought I'd get, that's for sure.
[So weird... But nice. What isn't so nice is that next bit of news.]
You've been here a month and didn't ask...? Don't you want to go home?
no subject
Y'know, in the hopes that maybe the 'Son of Satan' thing doesn't become an issue. He worries about that alot actually.
"Of course I want to go home. I've just been... busy." Taking care of yourself and trying to find friends for a month is hard, okay? Cut him some slack.
no subject
[what is this pep talk???? Warrick has no idea how to do this.]
If strange things really do happen a lot, then I guess I can't blame you. [but to not even ask tho...] I just...need to get back.
no subject
Rin is easily bought by words. How nice of you to compliment him, Warrick. You'll keep climbing his coolness ranks at this rate.
"Yea, you're right. I need to, too." A month is a pretty long time to be gone. He's sure everyone's worried on some level back home. Rin smiles at Warrick.
"I'll find out what I can and let you know!"
no subject
I'd really appreciate that. And if you could keep your eye out for a few people? Would that be too much trouble?
