What: Flick explains what he, and the other Wraeththu, are; Flick and Pell have a heart to heart.

After calling Jo up on the network(he'd put this off far too long) and asking for directions to her Spire, Flick left to meet her. After the disasterous meeting with Yukari, Flick wasn't going to suggest Jo come over to his anytime soon. Of course he probably shouldn't have been worried, Jo was already kind of friends with Pell, right? That just left Cal and Ulaume. Cal, who didn't like women,and Ulaume, who....well, was Ulaume. Really, he loved his chesnari, but politeness was sometimes not his forte.

Still he was surprised that Pell hadn't thought to mention that he wasn't human to her. He hoped he had told someone, what if he had gotten hurt and someone touched his wound? It would be disastrous. He understood being cautious but in this place, people needed to know. And now, Flick owed Jo an explanation.

Because there was nothing like asking a woman to knock you out, but making sure she didn't draw blood in order to ramp up her curiosity. Flick knocked on the door.

"Jo? Are you there, it's Flick."

Flick had banned Cal from the kitchen because he really didn't want him holding a knife and cutting things. Go figure. Ulaume was a different story, Lor he trusted intimately and one of the few things he trusted him to do was cut things up. Remnants from his old days helping Lianvis. At least this time he was cutting vegetables. It was one of those things Flick preferred not to think about, and if they weren't stuck here Lor wouldn't have been helping him chop at all.

As time goes by and Flick keeps cooking, he kept glancing back at Calanthe and Ulaume to make sure they hadn't killed each other and he didn't need to tell Yukari that dinner was off because his chesnari and his best friends chesnari had killed each other and now there was blood on the carpet.

Maybe if he was really lucky, Yukari would come soon and they could stave off murder. At the very least he could meet almost everyone. He knew how both Cal and Lormy could be with others. Flick silently prayed to Aruhani that the sniping could be kept to a minimum.

What: two stupid hara decide to try and feed the dragons
Where: across the river near the silent hill zone

Warnings: dragons!!!!!!

A. the shops and over the river

Do dragons like jerky? Pell and Flick are going to find out, having decided to take a more pacifistic approach to keeping the dragons away from the inhabitants of Hadriel. They’re going through all the shops and collecting the meat products in a half-assed bag made from a sheet, then dragging it over the river practically to the Silent Hill Zone, out where no one should ever go. This seems like a safe place to feed dragons. They dump out all the jerky and potted meat they’ve found in hopes of luring the beasts to this safe area, of sorts. This probably looks very strange to anyone in the area (where you should not be!!!) and merits inquiry.

B. the signal fire

Hmm, the dragons don’t seem to be coming. They seem to be continuing to wreak havoc on the city-parts of Hadriel. After some discussion, the two little hara decide that they need to do more to lure the dragons over. And what’s better than a dragon-shaped ball of flame being shot into the “sky” of the cavern? That oughta get their attention, right? It certainly might get yours.

C. running for their lives

The dragons are coming! Yay! … Gee. This was a stupid fucking idea. They get that now. Someone please hear the screaming and come help? The dragon of your choice is currently after them, as it had no interest in the questionable meal. In fact, the two idiots who put it out smell far more delicious than jerky. (And are just about as helpless.)
