Waking up in Hadriel certainly has its down sides, but if this weird murdercave city is good at one thing, it's keeping people entertained. As you awaken on the hard ground of the colosseum, you might see a rectangular cardboard box lying near you. Ignore it for now, as you get your bearings, but if you get bored? Well, you'll find these exciting and unique board games will keep you entertained!
But how could you possibly get bored, when there are plenty of cute monsters around to keep you company? Sharing the colosseum with all the new arrivals are Tonberries. In addition to their natural cuteness defense, they also carry very large knives. They're slow-moving and look innocent and even friendly, but be careful - one strike from that knife and you'll be a bloody mess. They won't attack unless you get too close, but who doesn't want to hug a Tonberry? And of course, if you attack, they'll counter with extreme prejudice.
Managed to resist the urge to hug a Tonberry? Safely escaped from the clutches of the colosseum, new board game in tow? Awesome! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers September 10th-13th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► All characters arrive with phones that have network communication.
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!

A clusterfuck. It's a clusterfuck, she means.
"A bottle of wine always makes me more amenable to an interrogation," she confirms, grinning. "You've discovered what our enemies have yet to learn."
Not really. She's got a bit more willpower than that.
The Inquisitor begins to lead him away, toward their spiral, temporary home, more and more at ease as they speak.
"Any reason for them, or were you just thinking that a change of pace might be nice?"

But he grins in response. "How fortunate that I am so excellent at keeping secrets. Your weakness is safe with me." He has no doubt that she has more willpower than that. She wouldn't have made it as far as she obviously had if that wasn't the case.
"Ah. Well, that is an interesting story. Suffice to say that it was not actually my idea, but they have grown on me." Really, that was the shortest way to say "Witches kidnapped me to their world to steal my soul and then transformed me into a naga with a variety of interesting piercings." He was sure she wouldn't appreciate knowing about the hemipenes. So he didn't plan on mentioning that. "I think that is one of the things that requires at least one of those bottles of wine." Most of Eros required a bottle of wine or three. It was, in Cecily's words "a bit of a mess, really."

"Well, I won't deny you that," the Inquisitor says lightly, as they walk ahead. "You can decide if you'd like to see where our 'forces' have holed up - that is, where the rest of us have been living, or we can go straight to the city's bar. Both are stocked well enough, though I've become fond of the latter, to be honest."
Better to hear what he has to say for herself, too, before he reunites with the others and they're all distracted.
"If it's more personal than all that, though, you're welcome to your secrets," she continues, shrugging helplessly. "Maker knows we've all got some of those, haven't we?"

"The bar is fine if you think the house might not be so private." He did know that there were a few of them here, thanks to Maketh and Henry, so he could perhaps see why she might want to have their talk be just the two of them at first.
He smiles, but there's a slight shadow in his eyes "Oh no, they're not as private as all that. Really, better to get a little drunk and laugh about it than treat it like some big, shameful secret, don't you think?" There were plenty of things about Eros he wasn't ready to talk about, might not ever be ready to talk about, but that was for their own reasons that had little to do with shame. Little things, small memories, private times. Not the sort of thing for conversation.

If Leliana, Cole, and/or Cullen are at home, she doesn't know it. They'll see, then, when they return.
"Absolutely," she agrees, laughing a little, appreciative. "It's usually better to just get a little drunk and laugh about things. Nine times out of ten." In her eyes. Best to avoid the thing that's making you massively uncomfortable, right? ... Or, that had been her original philosophy, though it's changed some since the Inquisition.

"Or a lot drunk, depending on the situation." Usually Dorian's solution for problems was wine and then more wine. Anything else could be dealt with after his hangover, he was quite sure. Plenty of the things that had happened in Eros were in the "get a lot drunk" category. But it was still better to laugh about them. It didn't sound quite so awful if you told it the right way.

"Or a lot drunk," Cecily agrees when he voices it, chuckling. "We can take it one story at a time, see what the occasion calls for." If they end up overdoing it, they can just sleep it off. It isn't as if they have an ancient god-magister to battle with anytime soon (Maker forbid).
It isn't long before they reach Delight's bar; Cecily pulls open the door, allowing the mage to pass in front of her.
