Waking up in Hadriel certainly has its down sides, but if this weird murdercave city is good at one thing, it's keeping people entertained. As you awaken on the hard ground of the colosseum, you might see a rectangular cardboard box lying near you. Ignore it for now, as you get your bearings, but if you get bored? Well, you'll find these exciting and unique board games will keep you entertained!
But how could you possibly get bored, when there are plenty of cute monsters around to keep you company? Sharing the colosseum with all the new arrivals are Tonberries. In addition to their natural cuteness defense, they also carry very large knives. They're slow-moving and look innocent and even friendly, but be careful - one strike from that knife and you'll be a bloody mess. They won't attack unless you get too close, but who doesn't want to hug a Tonberry? And of course, if you attack, they'll counter with extreme prejudice.
Managed to resist the urge to hug a Tonberry? Safely escaped from the clutches of the colosseum, new board game in tow? Awesome! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers September 10th-13th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► All characters arrive with phones that have network communication.
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!

"Both, though I meant gods." Amos knows. Oh, if only Faith knew, he's one of the "bad" folks, per se. Working for the yakuza doesn't get you a clean record or clean hands: though Amos does it for the loyalty to his boss, not for a love of the crime and violence. "Where I come from, if there's a legend about it, probably exists. Somewhere. So there's a lotta gods runnin' around, an if you're unlucky you cross paths with the not-so-nice ones. Or the batshit crazy ones. Pardon my French."

"Sounds like a bit of a mess, that." Faith laughs. She's not bothered by the cursing. "But at least it makes this place easier to deal with?" That's the case for Faith, sort of. "Won't get boring here too quick, will it!"

"Oh no, it ain't borin' here. An' to be honest, I still thought I was home, for a bit there at first, just, yanno, somewhere else. Which ain't too unheard of, where I'm from."
Amos rolls a shrug. Being enchanted, spirited away, or otherwise magicked into a different place or pocket dimension was definitely not unheard of, though skeptics still debated whether it was reality or mental illness. Amos, being who he was, knew for a fact that the fae could whisk you away and return you elsewhere if they so pleased. "Not a lot here I ain't heard of or run across before."

He's free to say no, but unless he does, Faith will probably assume yes. Why wouldn't you want to help people if you could?
(She knows the answer to that. She's lived through that. But here she is, still assuming the best of people.)

Amos laughs. "An' sure I will, sweetheart. Ain't much point in knowing things if you just gonna keep it to yourself."
Unless, of course, it's blackmail or murder, or other such weighty secret matters. Amos just grins at her, though. "There's a lotta resourceful people here, too. Some of the critters that've come through are from their worlds, so there's a lotta info sharing that goes on. It's nice. So far people've been real nice, all pullin' together into a solid community. Bit unusual, that, but very welcome in a place like this."

"That's good, that's good. We're all in this together, whether we like it or not. No sense making enemies of people who could save our lives, y'know?"

"True dat, sugar," Amos chuckles, pleased he's found someone who thinks along the same lines. Amos is all for everyone getting along and no fighting. He rarely sees it happen, though, and not to this degree. "Speakin' of, there anything I could answer for ya? Or you need directions anywheres?"
