Who: New arrivals and everyone else!
What: The intro log for October
Where: The colosseum and all around the city.
When: October 10th-13th
Warnings: New faces, new greeting posts, and dragons. What's more to want?

If your first thought upon waking up on the cold, hard ground of Hadriel's very own Colosseum is 'maybe I partied too hard last night', one, Delight would love you and two, you're wrong. Or- maybe you did, but that's not why you're here. Instead, you wake up with the same clothes you were wearing when you were last home, but surrounded by very different people. So, make some friends! Might as well voice your confusion and concern and show the technologically unsavvy of you how to operate these fancy new phones, right? Just be sure not to trip over these odd bags of chips on your way to greet your fellow man.

Don't spend too much time out in the open, though. There are monsters about, and not quite the usual ones. This month, Hadriel is bringing in four dragons, each with their own unique abilities and raidboss-esque stamina. They'll be terrorizing the city until someone puts them down- maybe that someone is you! Maybe you should, uh, actually hide. They're hungry and territorial and mean and they're definitely out for a good meal. Check out our OOC post for more information, as well as who will be eventually killing the beasts!

But hey, once you escape from the dragons, feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies.

Not much, other than the dragons invading the city and stale potato chips.

You doing okay? You look like you ran a marathon.

Buddy, the day I run a marathon is the day I die.

[Get it? 'Cause back home he's already been - yeah, you know what, never mind. That one was in poor taste, even for him.]

But, uh, nah. I'm good. Confusion took a lot outta me, y'know?

[Wait a minute that's terrible. He quits.]

You and me both. At least my winds aren't acting up this time around.

[No friend of his is becoming dragon food.]

[His...winds? Frankly, it's a real good thing Sans don't know much about the human gastrointestinal system, 'cause that's a long, long string of fart jokes waiting to happen.]

Can't just yet, buddo, sorry. [He merely looks resigned to his apparent fate.] There's a pretty high chance somebody I know is out here right now.

[He hasn't heard many fart jokes regarding his powers and that clearly needs to change.]

Well then, I can't have that. We can look for them together. I got you covered if some dragon tries to attack.

[Someone needs to change this. Unfortunately for all parties, that "someone" cannot be Sans.]

Fighting, yes. Fighting dragons?

[Well...]

My world doesn't have dragons. It's why I want to get a couple of pictures of them. But the safety of the people comes first, so I'll fight either way.

Might wanna save the sight-seein' until after they're dead and gone, pal.

[He's got little doubt that they will be very shortly. Place is packed with too many go-getting hero types for them not to. MERCY ain't really a foreseeable option here. Maybe if it were just the kid...

But it ain't just the kid.]

Can't say this is any of this in my books either.

[Awww man... he really wants to get live dragon footage, just so he can shove it online for all his internet friends to see.]

[Siiiigghhh.]

Anyway, where did you last see your friend?

In one of the shops. They were just headin' out to see if they could...make a dent in the lot of 'em, I guess.

[He shrugs tiredly. As if he ain't still silently beatin' himself up over how he'd just let 'em go. Still. It's real hard to stop 'em once they get their mind set on somethin'. They're just real Determined, aren't they?]

If I was stronger, I wouldn't mind taking a shot at fighting them.

[But sadly, he's not. Ryu could probably take one on.]

We'll check the shops first and go from there. And don't worry. I know we'll find them.

They'll be together. Two kids wearin' striped shirts.

['Course, he doubts that after their last encounter that Frisk, at least, will be at all pleased to see him. Might even try to get away. Might be easier if he just puts Rashid to the task and...

Well, it might be easier.]

Two kids? All right...

[Shouldn't be too difficult, but why would kids want to fight dragons? Unless they were super-powered.]

[Because that's what he's taught them, apparently. What he and the rest of the Underground have left to weigh upon their collective shoulders. Responsibility, and the special power to use it.]

Yeah. Real determined, those two. Inseparable, most likely.

At least we don't have to run around finding one after the other.

Better get going.

[He turns to Sans, ready to run. Or if the skeleton can't, he can carry him if needed.]

[He'd be surprised. The pair of 'em can really be a handful. But now ain't really the time to get into it, so he doesn't. Sans ambles on after. He might not have enough magic to clip through space all over the city, but he's got enough to keep up with Rashid even if he's pretty obviously going at a pace that can only be described as a leisurely stroll.]

[He's a hero, so he wants to help out whenever he can. And he's not about to turn his back on someone as friendly as Sans.

He doesn't mind the slower pace as he walks alongside the skeleton.]
