Event Log: Keepsakes

What: The event log for the Keepsakes event!
Where: All around the city
When: October 15th-October 19th
Warnings: A bunch of random crap.

Well, Hope and Delight are messing with the door again, but at least this time dragons aren't involved, right? This attempt goes a bit better - sure, no one gets sent home, but if everyone will just look under their seats, they'll find a FREE [INSERT SOMETHING YOU MAYBE DIDN'T WANT AT ALL HERE]! Awesome! So nice! Yup, throughout these few days people will be finding things from home - something they loved, something they used all the time, something they hated, something they totally forgot they even had. All sorts of cool stuff!

Well, they might not actually find it. Their neighbor might, or a complete stranger. And who knows where it could turn up? At the park, half-buried? In the Silent Hill zone, kept safe by a horrifying monster? Or hey, maybe in somebody's underwear drawer. Awkward. Better try to find your stuff, or find the owner of whatever weird crap you found. It could be something important.

[ Tina spotted Jill up ahead. It was easy to pick her out from the others, the uniform-like clothes she wore, her pretty blond hair and if you were approaching her from behind, well...

Once she was sure Jill had seen her, Tina started to flail her hands about in the air, waving the photo about as she did. ]

Hey! Heyheyheyhey! Lookie what I got! It's the BOMB!

[Jill waits for Tina to catch up and blinks a few times at the photo she's waving. An amused look crosses the woman's face.]

I can't see it when it's moving that fast.

[She reaches out to ask for it and if the photo is handed over, Jill will have a look, which definitely surprises her.]

Where did you get this?

[ Tina stands before her, swaying excitedly side to side as Jill took the photo. ]

It was in my workshop! Just sittin' there. It's okay gurl, if yoo wanna send me selfies and stuff yoo don't has to be shy about it.

[ An after thought. ]

I want it back though!!!

[ Almost pouting as he reached back out. Jill looked as if she'd seen a ghost! ]

[Tina had a way of saying things that made it hard for Jill not to smile. She was a funny kid. She looks at the picture again and figures there's no harm in giving it back to her. There are a lot of people in that picture that aren't alive anymore. It was a little tough to look at, so she hands it back.]

That's a really old picture.

It's retro as FUUUUCK! Er s'xcuse me.

[Snatching the photo back and without warning, going to wrap her arms around Jill's side on a really tight hug. ]

Best, day, ever.

[ She whispered as she nuzzled into Jill's side. ]

[Jill looked down at Tina and smiled. Guess it was fine if the picture made her happy. It wouldn't do Jill any good. She spends enough time dwelling on the past already without being reminded to do it.]
