'cos we're young and we're broke and I can't find my coat
Who: Connor, Matt, Jade & Friends of the aforementioned (feel free to join if you think you qualify or hit us up on plurk; also all the threadjacking of course)
What: Connor has a house party because why not
Where: At Connor's house, which is also Jade and Matt's house
When: 1/11
Warnings: Nah just partying probably with minimal alcohol, even, to set a good example for jade
[connor's bored, mostly. you can only go on so many lame moped trips crying about the return of the cave roof for so long before you really need a new hobby. that new hobby might even be one of the lame board games he swiped from the stores - for a lot of guilt, so he's kind of hoping they're not missing pieces (lets be honest, they probably are.)
anyways he texts some of his friends and tells them to come over because the more the merrier I guess and they could probably all use some time to chill together or something. besides then his friends can meet his other friends and that's always a fun idea.
it's easier to be surrounded by people than left alone with your thoughts, is really the long and short of it. so here we all are.]

Hey, you made it!

[It might be a slight upon their godly perfections to say or act in a way that ain't 100% dignified, or implies that maybe they don't always know what they're doing.]

Who knows, they're always running around doing something stupid because they can't work the Door properly.

[The whole question of "what in the hell can kill a god" is still out there, and none of 'em are any closer to figuring it out.]
no subject
[surely...]
What do you miss from back home?
no subject
What's he miss from back home? What was there left to miss? The screaming black void of nothingness that would inevitably herald The End?]
The things not trying to kill me, mostly. All the monsters back home were friendly. Liked good food, bad laughs, didn't try to gnaw your face off.
[When they were, y'know. Alive.]

[gren. wade. their ot3.]

More people than anyone ever did back home, lemme tell ya. One of this place's redeeming qualities.
no subject
[like not being with his murder club is pretty high on his reasons why hes not 100% against being here]

[Himself included.]

I take you can relate?
no subject
[there's a beat, collecting thoughts. deciding how much he wants to say. their friendship is based on shitposting, not crying about home.]
Home's complicated.

Sans toasts with a glass of his plum sauce. It's good stuff.]
I feel that.
Somethin' nice in not getting to make the decision to come here or get pulled back, huh?
no subject
at least sans literally drinking the plum sauce is a good spot of levity and connor just laughs, opting to comment on that rather than go on talking about everything else.]
You really do have it bad for condiments, don't you?
no subject
What can I say? Maybe I'm just subject to some condimental shift.
no subject
[but hes laughing he really does love sans' dumb sense of humor]
no subject
[But he sounds completely unrepentant.]
My brother says he hates it, but he always smiles anyway.
no subject
How's your brother doing?

[But, uh, any drawbacks anyone can think of? He's willing to lend an ossicle.]
no subject
instead:]
So do you live with your brother or...?
no subject
[Wouldn't surprise him if he hadn't. She don't really get out much.]
no subject
[he does know several undertales, but alas.]
no subject
She doesn't get out much. But she's good people.
