Who: Everyone participating in the event!
What: The event log for the Patron Gods event!
Where: All around the city
When: March 15th-March 20th
Warnings: The gods choose you! Whether you choose them back is your call.

It's March 15th! Whether or not you've been having a good or a bad week, the gods decided to get together and put all the characters on teams- just like in those gym classes that you always skipped! Whether or not you were the last one picked is up for debate, but until we can figure that particular mystery out, there's another one to mull over... namely, who left that mysterious note in your bedside table/shoe/fishtank? And how did you get a friendship bracelet twined around your wrist?

Regardless, when opened, the letter will say-

'Congratulations! You have been chosen! [God name] thinks you're a great fit for their team! All you have to do is spread their emotion, and you'll get a blessing - and if your team wins, you get the grand prize: one (1) request for each member of the team, no payment required! Or you can band together and request one big thing, it's all up to you! So find your allies, get started, and let's win this thing!'

Whether or not this is for real becomes immediately obvious, as you seem to find yourself yearning to cooperate with your teammates, and maybe feeling a bit competitive toward your foes. Grab a squeaky chicken or a creepy doll or a snowglobe from the shops if you like, and let's get inspiring! Of course, you aren't forced to participate, but have fun telling your teammates that nobody is going to win their wish because you decided to be a stick in the mud.

Go forth and spread joy! Or sorrow, or scare people, or just really piss them off- but whatever you do, try to have fun and build that sense of community! You're going to need it...

Or rather, after a minor addition, it's perfect. Look at that; that is one prime hug, right there.]

I like it. [They state, nodding their head. This is some good teamwork.]

[No, wait, let him throw away his shame before someone sees—oh.

Oh, they're adding to it... Well, now the drawing has the correct number of arms. Ned makes a face, but in the end he only sighs, sort of chuckling.]

Alright, alright. Keep it. But that's the best I can do.

It's great. [Ah, the struggling artist... how often doth a picture go into the bin for such acts of self-doubt?

Which means, he doesn't get to post that one up. Instead, he gets handed another, equally important one.]

Can you put that one up?

[God, look at all this good spirit. Ned looks at it like he's amazed it exists, then hums as he gets back to his feet.]

Sure. Anywhere on the wall, there?

[Golly, it's a good thing Frisk is used to people staring like they've grown a second head. They nod at him, watching him work for a moment before returning to their own.]

Thanks for helping.

Um. I'm Frisk.

[He's just not used to good vibes being pasted all around town, that's all... This has, in fact, never happened before ever.]

Something tells me you did most of the work. [his crap drawing... but he laughs when he says it, so it's fine, it's all good.] I'm Ned.

Maybe I Neded some help.

[What? They didn't do a thing wrong.]

[Puns...... That gets Ned to pause and glance back at them as he's hanging this new poster up, but he's not going to groan in pun-dread at a kid, so. Just wow.]

Well, you're welcome. [...he nods down at the hug drawing.] What are you gonna do with that?

[A lack of complaint is simply all the more reason to pun in future. They give the hug drawing a fond little pat, poker face- exceptionally good, considering it's their default expression.]

Hang it up and take photos.

[Noooo... Fine. He'll allow it.]

You have a camera?

Have a phone.

[Which has a camera. So not only can they take a photo, they can share it with Everyone.]

[Okay, but imagine Ned is from 1868. The look on his face should convey well enough that he doesn't get the connection, so...]

Alright. And that means...?

[Ohoho. Imagine, if you would, that Frisk is from after 201X, and technology is not remotely foreign to them. They blink up at him for a moment, before their hand reaches into their pocket.]

It means this.

[Pointing it at him, there's a little chime of a photo being taken, one that's sent away for judgement.

Then they're up and closing the gap between them, so he can have a look at the exciting visage of his own face.]

See?

[What does the mysterious chime mean!! He's still stuck on this flat rectangle being able to take pictures, it seems fake... but that sure is his own face.]

Huh. That's real flattering. [he wasn't ready.....]

[Too late. Your image belong to social media now, Ned. No do-overs. There's another chime, a different pitch and tune as Sans responds, and Frisk is all too happy to show him that too, not even bothering to hide their grin.]

Sans says he's Ned over heels. He liked your photo, too.

[Ned over heels... he has so many regrets. But he doesn't look surprised to see a ridiculous pun from Sans, so there's that.]

We've met. Tell him I said he's a real charmer.

I will. [No, really. They will. Congrats Ned you are now flirting with a skeleton through a third party.]

Don't you know how to use your phone?

[Not the strangest thing he's ever done, somehow. He hums, gesturing with his palms up like, well... no.]

These are a little beyond my time.

I can show you, if you want. It's not hard.

[Seems like a shame to miss out on what everyone has to say. Lots of people like to talk to each other on the network; he should have a chance to talk too.]

[HMMM... Alright. He shrugs, gesturing again, this time for them to show him the rectangle.]

Sure, why not?

[Time for a ten year old to try and cover the basics of technology, heck yeah. Holding the rectangle up, they navigate to the home page; because there's no better place to start than the start.]
