Event Log: Patron Gods

Who: Everyone participating in the event!
What: The event log for the Patron Gods event!
Where: All around the city
When: March 15th-March 20th
Warnings: The gods choose you! Whether you choose them back is your call.

It's March 15th! Whether or not you've been having a good or a bad week, the gods decided to get together and put all the characters on teams- just like in those gym classes that you always skipped! Whether or not you were the last one picked is up for debate, but until we can figure that particular mystery out, there's another one to mull over... namely, who left that mysterious note in your bedside table/shoe/fishtank? And how did you get a friendship bracelet twined around your wrist?

Regardless, when opened, the letter will say-

'Congratulations! You have been chosen! [God name] thinks you're a great fit for their team! All you have to do is spread their emotion, and you'll get a blessing - and if your team wins, you get the grand prize: one (1) request for each member of the team, no payment required! Or you can band together and request one big thing, it's all up to you! So find your allies, get started, and let's win this thing!'

Whether or not this is for real becomes immediately obvious, as you seem to find yourself yearning to cooperate with your teammates, and maybe feeling a bit competitive toward your foes. Grab a squeaky chicken or a creepy doll or a snowglobe from the shops if you like, and let's get inspiring! Of course, you aren't forced to participate, but have fun telling your teammates that nobody is going to win their wish because you decided to be a stick in the mud.

Go forth and spread joy! Or sorrow, or scare people, or just really piss them off- but whatever you do, try to have fun and build that sense of community! You're going to need it...

He's not prone to harm women at least unless it was a have to kind of thing like with Exorcists at home. Otherwise he treats them rather kindly and while his compliments about their bodies are genuine it was often resulting from Tyki talking too much. He wouldn't drop her at least. Still, he won't push it. They are both on the ground anyways.

"A reprieve from Confusion would be nice. The only events from her haven't been kind to me especially the last one. Yet to cause Confusion on a massive scale could be rather dangerous. Is winning that much worth it?"

[unitas]

"I guess that all depends on whether or not you need something from them," and though Sharon would never claim she needs anything from any single one of those deities but having something on them, having a request available should it ever be necessary? It's worth a little extra hard work,"I get it, though. I'm not the biggest fan of playing into their shit, either. I just recognize when something might end up being useful."

Like a payment-less request. Not that it's so payment-less considering what they'd have to do to win it, how much they'd have to inspire of their particular team's emotion.

"Plus, who doesn't like winning?" She adds, sporting a slight grin.

"Not anymore. Some luxuries or other things but they aren't anything I need." He chuckles a little at the way she just admits that winning is worth something. It's true. It had potential to be useful. He did like winning but in this case there was also a great deal of everything else that could be lost as well. He didn't really want to feed any of them. Well, not for long.

"I do but are we really winning or are they winning by default of how much they are fed. It's a ploy."

[unitas]

"They win every day, all day, regardless of whether or not we play into their hands," She argues. With this, they at least get something out of all the emotions they pull from them. She'd rather get something than nothing, and if she's getting something, she wants the big prize,"But, hey, if you're good with losing, I'm not going to argue."

She says with somewhat of a smile,"It means my team is more likely to win."

"Of course they do. They're gods. They get to play with everyone else like toys." It doesn't mean he wants to feed them any further. Besides, unless there was a true motivation the effort just wasn't there. It had to take more from him.

"Delight is easier. So is Rage. Fear will only come if people are scared of what others will do." He grins a little this close to her, "Besides, you're Fear right? I can't see him not picking you." He's totally implying something here.
