Who: Open to everyone
What: #TeamTranquillity are in it to win it. Deciding to work together, the gang has taken over the library and converted it into a space for weary residents of Hadriel to catch their breath and just take it easy amid the intensifying competition in the city to invoke one emotion or another.
Where: The Library
When: March 15th to March 21st, duration of the event.
Warnings: Will Update if necessary!

[Hadriel's library has unfortunately seen little use; the books are either unreadable or cover material so random that only Hope someone who completely did not understand the concept of fun would have picked those books. Little wonder it's hardly frequented by Hadriel's residents.

But it's still a library: meaning, it's got plenty of space, and plenty of peace and quiet.

So with all the chaos erupting over the city? It could make the perfect sanctuary, a place to take a breather from the emotion wars. A place where a person could unwind over a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, knit a sweater in peace, or even plunge themselves into pillow/blanket fort and just take a nap. A place to relax.

A place for Tranquillity.

Which is why Team Tranquillity has taken over the library and converted it into a mini R&R. Tables and chairs have been pushed to the side to allow for floor space, and comfortable chairs, sofas and even beanie bags, all in softer pastel colours, dot the empty space. A couple of tables and chairs have been left as well, so that those in need of them can use them as they'd like. And of course, the giant pillow fort bundled in one corner for people to unceremoniously throw themselves into.

The members of Team Tranquillity are all around to ensure that your time in the Tranquillity Space is as relaxing as can be. Some members are even offering services, ranging from massages to meditation, gentle exercises to a steaming hot cup of joe. Knitting classes, advice on handling emotional stress when under torture and trauma, and even some fortune-telling for light laughs.

And it's perfectly alright to drag a beanie bag to your own personal corner and just crash there for the day. No judgement from Team Tranquillity.

A message is sent out via the network to inform Hadriel's citizens of the new place in town to get away from it all. Drop by whenever, do what you need to relax and recharge. It's a stressful world out there, and sometimes we all need to take some time to chill out, right?

Welcome, to the Tranquillity Space.

Civilian. Now that's a funny thought.

"That is not necessary. You should take a seat." It's more of a suggestion than a request. Maketh looks to be the type who could take a load off every now and then.

Maketh tips her head to the side, watching. After a moment, she does so. It pays to know everyone in Hadriel - at least a little - and she doesn't know this woman at all. "All right."

Taking a moment to pour a single helping of a creamy-looking tea into the handleless cup, Ravine's eyes do not once leave the woman sitting adjacent from her.

"Maketh Tua, is it?" Yes, it is. But people tend to feel less nervous when they feel their name is more renowned than heard through the thought-waves of others. "You were assigned to the Sorrow team, were you not?"

It appears she is not currently partaking in inspiring any sadness in others, though. Ravine notes this when she slides the tea to the woman.

"Correct."

Maketh accepts the tea with some suspicion. She doesn't drink just yet.

"I do not serve the gods. I see no reason to offer them aid."

"That appears to be an all too common sentiment around here."

One would almost feel sorry for the gods, but they probably don't care too much whether they're liked or not. Ravine knows the type. She also knows that people can be pretty guarded with their pride as well.

She then waves a hand at the tea, waiting before Maketh. "It's not poison, I promise. It's the closest thing to chai I could replicate with the ingredients around here."

Maketh frowns slightly. Now she has to drink, otherwise she'll look afraid. So she does. It doesn't kill her immediately. "You didn't pour any for yourself."

Suspicious. But she has to be careful in this place. Who knows when someone will turn sour?

"I did not," Ravine confirms, and for a moment it seems as if that's all she has to say about the matter. "I'm dead."

That just says it all, right?

Right.

Dead. That's a new one. Maketh leans back in her chair. "You still have motor functions. How does that work?"

"To put it simply, it doesn't."

Trying to explain a lack of logic to a logical individual is more effort than Ravine is willing to put in. Not when there are other ways of getting the obvious point across.

While it could be as easy as removing her own head from the collar around her neck, it would inspire less 'chill' than they're going for here. Instead, she reaches for the handle of the teapot. When doing so, her fingers slide through. She does this again -- and once more when trying to grab the top lid. She pokes a thin, long finger through the teapot itself, the digit slipping straight through iron.

"It takes more effort to interact with things than it does the other way around." With that, she grasps the teapot's handle, lifting the object a couple inches from the low table. "As you may assume, it's difficult to digest anything when you lack the necessary organs to do so."

The liquid would just go right through. So unless they want a mess, Ravine is better off not partaking.

"I see."

That's different. Maketh considers Ravine a moment, reviewing what little she knows of Force ghosts. There isn't much, but Maketh senses there might be a few similarities. She'll have to ask Kylo. Presumably Ravine still produces enough emotion for the gods to feed off of, regardless of her troubles interacting with the physical world.

How curious.

Maketh takes her cup again and drinks. She's not very fond of tea, but it's the gesture that matters.

"Such things are not--unheard of, in my world. I don't pretend to understand them."

Sometimes, all that's left are emotions after the body withers and decays. Regardless of which kind that lingers, it's still the same outcome.

Lowering the teapot back onto the table's surface, she releases it with ease. Having millennia of practice has given her time to perfect the ability of interacting with the living side of things. It wasn't always so easy.

"Certain things are better off not understood," she notes. "It'll only make your head spin."

And she had lost hers.

Maketh quips a smile. "And now you are....what? Telling fortunes?"

How very strange.

"It's possible that is poetic."

"You think?"

Her brows raise slightly, more amused by Maketh than anything. The woman has an interesting air about her.

Ravine leans forward, able to rest her elbow over the table as if she were a real, solid person. "I suppose it depends. Is there something you'd like to know?"

"I wouldn't know," Maketh admits. Not really. "I don't know how this works."

Truth be told, Ravine had never been one for cheap tricks and theatrics, herself. She is merely emulating millennia worth of observations.

"Very well. Let's begin with this." She extends a gloved hand across the table. "Give me your hand."

It's possible this is a trap. Maketh hesitates for a moment - only a moment - and then extends her hand. "All right."
