Who: Open to everyone
What: #TeamTranquillity are in it to win it. Deciding to work together, the gang has taken over the library and converted it into a space for weary residents of Hadriel to catch their breath and just take it easy amid the intensifying competition in the city to invoke one emotion or another.
Where: The Library
When: March 15th to March 21st, duration of the event.
Warnings: Will Update if necessary!
[Hadriel's library has unfortunately seen little use; the books are either unreadable or cover material so random that onlyHope someone who completely did not understand the concept of fun would have picked those books. Little wonder it's hardly frequented by Hadriel's residents.
But it's still a library: meaning, it's got plenty of space, and plenty of peace and quiet.
So with all the chaos erupting over the city? It could make the perfect sanctuary, a place to take a breather from the emotion wars. A place where a person could unwind over a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, knit a sweater in peace, or even plunge themselves into pillow/blanket fort and just take a nap. A place to relax.
A place for Tranquillity.
Which is why Team Tranquillity has taken over the library and converted it into a mini R&R. Tables and chairs have been pushed to the side to allow for floor space, and comfortable chairs, sofas and even beanie bags, all in softer pastel colours, dot the empty space. A couple of tables and chairs have been left as well, so that those in need of them can use them as they'd like. And of course, the giant pillow fort bundled in one corner for people to unceremoniously throw themselves into.
The members of Team Tranquillity are all around to ensure that your time in the Tranquillity Space is as relaxing as can be. Some members are even offering services, ranging from massages to meditation, gentle exercises to a steaming hot cup of joe. Knitting classes, advice on handling emotional stress when under torture and trauma, and even some fortune-telling for light laughs.
And it's perfectly alright to drag a beanie bag to your own personal corner and just crash there for the day. No judgement from Team Tranquillity.
A message is sent out via the network to inform Hadriel's citizens of the new place in town to get away from it all. Drop by whenever, do what you need to relax and recharge. It's a stressful world out there, and sometimes we all need to take some time to chill out, right?
Welcome, to the Tranquillity Space.]

Welcome, to the Tranquillity Space.]

...suffice to say, Danse has exhausted his chill for the day. You give ONE NON-HUMAN a chance, and of course it blows up in your face. Of course.
But there's work to be done before the yelling. First, they'll need to handle the speakers. Annnnd sure enough, he can only spot one or two. The rest must be hidden because of course they are. But what's handling a bunch of loudspeakers compared with fire fights with super mutants?
Turning around to try and spot Henry, he takes out his phone instead and shoots a quick message off:]
We should evacuate the building. I think the speakers are in hidden locations. I've got eyes on two, I don't know where the others are.

Then his phone chirps, and he uses that hovering hand to fish it out.]
That may not be necessary if we are quick.
[As he types, his gaze sweeps the room. When Henry spots Danse he quickly makes his way over. Wearing a frown, he immediately asks:]
Where are they?
[The best place to start is by smashing the two Danse has spotted. It will make the hunt for the rest easier.]
no subject
She spots Henry and Danse and goes to speak directly to the pair of them. Together, they can figure this out.]
Leave the quick destruction of the speakers to me, wherever they are.
[She's already got her sword in hand for this exact purpose.]
no subject
I would recommend that we try not to destroy the speakers. Look for the wires behind and try to pull them off the speaker. Failing that, sever the wire. I'll get the library ladder and take down that speaker over there, and then I'll try and look for more along the upper shelves.
no subject
So much for crushing the work of their foes. Henry sighs, the only indication of his disappointment. It's for the best though, since he would have taken enjoyment in it.]
In that case, I will search down here.
[And he immediately heads off, listening closely to pinpoint other sources of the blaring noise.]
no subject
Once the wires have been taken care of from those two, I will search over there.
[She points to one corner. The sooner they can contain this, the better.]
If we are fortunate, there will be no further disruptions.
[And with that, she's off to pluck the wire out from the speakers. The one near the drinks table is promptly yanked out, and she moves on, trying to pinpoint the source of the noise. She locates one hidden behind a pillow in a pillow fort, and that's one more speaker silenced for the sake of their collective sanity. Two down, soon to be three once Danse takes care of the one up on the shelf, and only the culprits knew how many remained.]

With some of the speakers hidden behind books or tucked away in little alcoves, Danse doesn't have any choice but to try and listen for any source of sound. Dragging the ladder around, he has mixed success and failures trying to find each speaker in his search area. But if there's no further disruptions from either of the troublesome duo, then hopefully he shouldn't take too long to find and unplug all the speakers.]
no subject
He can hear the impact of each consecutive success on Danse and Ikaruga's parts alongside his; the noise level mercifully keeps dropping. They'll be done soon, he thinks.]
no subject
She can hear that Danse and Henry are having their own successes. This could have been worse, as far as disruptions to their efforts go, but they'll have to re-establish a calming atmosphere. And possibly sabotage other teams' efforts in all of this.]
no subject
Still. Once he's placed the speaker with the rest of them, his expression darkens with rage and he looks around furiously. Those two delinquents better have left, if they know what's good for them.]
no subject
It's not that he's not vexed himself, as the restless in how he holds himself demonstrates. He likewise has every intention of finding and throwing out those responsible. But he hates to fulfil their attempt at ruining the tranquility so carefully crafted.
Tearing through the library in a rage will be another disruption that serves their foes.
He claps Danse firmly on the shoulder.]
Be not foolish. Our efforts are not wholly undone.
[He quickly glances around for sight of Ikaruga; she'll talk sense, he hopes.]
no subject
[Ikaruga was a good pick for Team Tranquility. She's not one to let things trouble her much in general. Her expression is serene as she approaches her teammates.]
Are our culprits still in the library? We should escort them out if they are. It will put people's minds at ease if they see that the problem has been calmly dealt with.
no subject
Frye was trouble to start with, and Danse should've kicked him out the moment he threw that teacup at him. But the skeleton--
"I'm told that providing a pillow fort is one effect method of helping others destress. We have also set aside some blankets; if you'd like a quiet place to sleep undisturbed, I would recommend you drop by."
"Might do. Sleeping is a very important hobby of mine. Can't miss out on that."
Stupid. So so stupid. You really are a poor judge of character, Danse. You invited a saboteur into the library. Sure, on the scale of things it doesn't matter. You wanted to invite as many people as possible into the library. You wanted to win. And all in all, it's just a prank. Nobody got hurt. Nobody died. No Commonwealth at stake.
But boy, doesn't it suck to make the same mistake twice?
If he sticks around any longer, he's not going to be able to contain his anger. Danse takes a step back. But make no mistake that he's still infuriated beyond all measure and if Sans or Jacob so much as drop one more smartass comment or pun his way then he will explode.]
I'm a liability and a risk at this point. The both of you should handle it.

Let us discover where they hide.
[He says to her.]
