Who: Celebrimbor and Anne.
What: Ghosts have ill effects on everyone.
Where: Anne's home and then somewhere...away.Fingers crossed that the ghosts don't follow.
When: Right now.
Warnings: Sad topics are likely - old wounds and all that.
One house was never meant to contain a host of Finweans. Celebrimbor was susceptible to their tumultuous emotions - he always had been - and it felt as if he was being strangled by love, duty and the past. At some point, when the shades started their tenth argument, he hit an emotional wall. He didn't care if they thought him a coward.
He had to get away. Using his staff - Eru knew where his cane had went - he hobbled his way to her door and knocked with purpose.
Also known as knocking loudly.
"Anne!" his voice rang clearly in the air; there could be no doubt who he sought in his discomfort.

She pulled herself up to go to the door, opening it to see Celembrimbor standing there. He looked just as haunted as she was and she quickly helped him in, guiding him to the couch quickly so he didn't hurt himself. "I take it you have seen ghosts as well?"

...as well.
"Who?" he reached for her once he was sitting, "My family has grown exponentially since last we spoke. Some, I welcome. Others..." would forever frighten him.

She looked up at him when he mentioned who he had seen. "You have you seen?" she asked softly, concerned. "I am sorry, I know how it hurts."

Louis hadn't provided that and her lover...
Celebrimbor didn't really like thinking of him.
"My grandfather, my uncles, my cousins..." he closed his eyes sadly, "Most of them have perished. Seeing them again is...difficult."

She leaned against him, wishing she could do more to give him solace. "Has it been a long time since you've seen them last?"

He wiped at the tear with his thumb, embracing her tighter. If only she could stay...
"Some, yes. Most I was glad to see - even if they quarreled overmuch with each other - however my grandfather..." he hissed, "I take after him in looks and talent. But he..." he bit his lip, "He frightens me."

"He isn't here, it's just a ghost. Don't give him power over you," she whispered as she laid down against him. "I'll protect you from him."

"Anne, listen to your own wisdom." he gently covered her eyes with his hand, "Your Aramis does not even know you are missing. When you are reunited, you will not remember any of this nightmare. This ghost is only Hadriel's attempt to break you."

She would go back to being alone. She clung to Celebrimbor as she shook with muffled sobs, trying to hold them back. She knew he was hurting just as much as she was and so she held onto him tightly, trying to hold onto some of his strength.
