What: The event log for the Party Royale event
Where: All over the city!
When: September 22nd-29th
Warnings: Paintball, loss of consciousness, and partying!

As is par for the course in Hadriel, at some point throughout the day- waking up, making breakfast, doing laundry- you find an item. This isn't just any item though, it's a tried and true paintball gun, shining and just waiting to be picked up. This gun never runs out of ammunition, never malfunctions, and almost always hits the target that you're aiming at, so say hello to your new best friend for the next week.

Touching or picking up the gun will fill you with a competitive surge, which will likely increase when you find the note that's left with it, saying nothing more than be the last one standing. With instructions like that, how could you lose?

Well, you could lose if someone else shoots you. But never fear, there's a plan for that too! Even if you embrace the throes of unconsciousness, the gods have got your back and will eventually teleport you into a grand party where prizes will be handed out based on how long you survived. Awesome! At this party is also the traditional copious amounts of food and drink, as well as everyone's favorite goddess Delight and everyone's slightly-less-favorite goddess Rage!

This was a new feeling; to not be dismissed or teased. It made him feel good, proud almost. His joy was reflected in his features as he tried to reign in his excitement - he didn't want to overwhelm her with his enthusiasm.〉

Nobody could say no to you! I'll make sure of it!

〈And he punctuated his idle threat with laughter, softening it further.〉

Oh! I just realised, I didn't ask you about your prize! Is that what you got? What is it?

[she wouldn't do that to him.

now, she'd feel sad if she knew that those feelings were new to him. he's such a sweet young man, people (and other androids) should be kind to him]

Oh, I think it would be very hard to become queen here. Most people don't seem to want a queen.

[said with a slightly rueful smile. part of her still wants to be The Queen.

holds up her box of chocolates] Yes, this is what I won. It's a box of chocolates. I hope that they're good, it's been a while since I had chocolate at all.

What's a chocolate?

〈And this was probably the most terrifying question he'd asked during his entire stay at Hadriel.〉

It's a kind of sweet. Or it can be bitter, but I prefer the sweet ones. They melt easily in your mouth or you can just bite into them, chew, and swallow.

Can you eat? Would you like to try one?

[opens the box and holds one out to him]

It's food! Human food!

〈He blurted out, a few of the party's guests glancing their way then continuing with their evenings. As if the evening hadn't been exciting enough, now he was being presented with food.〉

Ah, but they're your prize aren't they? I couldn't take that away from you. That wouldn't be fair.

〈9S had never eaten anything before. He wasn't sure how he would react to it, but he had seen other androids eat and drink so, presumably, he would be okay too.〉

Yes, it is! A very good one, too. Rare where I come from.

[she ignores those who stare at them. they're not worth bothering with. besides, she appreciates his enthusiasm

gestures to the box full of chocolates] No need to worry, I'll still have plenty to choose from.

〈9S practically radiated excitement.

Not only had he had the opportunity to speak with one of the prettiest human girls he'd ever seen, but now she was going to offer him human food as well.

He fidgeted trying to make the choice, but with no experience in chocolate - or any food for that matter - he was having some trouble.〉

Could you decide for me? I don't know which to have, I've never eaten chocolate before.

[d'awwww!

no, seriously, she finds his enthusiasm and complete and total lack of cynicism both charming and refreshing after years in King's Landing.

she waits patiently, box held open]

Me? I suppose I could. These ones with strawberry filling are especially good. Have one. [she plucks a chocolate out of the box and offers it to him]

〈As if about to undertake a vitally important ritual 9S began to ready himself. He delicately placed the teddy bear on the floor, leaning against his ankle. He combed his hair into place with his fingers and brushed off the front of his jacket.

Once he felt ready for this new experience he reached out to take the chocolate from her fingers, holding it gingerly between his thumb and middle finger. The first thing he did when he had it was to smell it, noting the bitter-sweet aroma of the chocolate and the sweetness of the sugary strawberry locked inside.〉

I'm going to eat it now!

〈He told her, almost embarrassed to actually consume something in full view of a human (and a very pretty and kind one at that).

He opened his mouth, which for all intents and purposes resembled any normal human's mouth, and dropped the chocolate in.〉

... Fascinating!

〈He chewed and eventually swallowed it.〉

Cocoa butter, sugar, and milk powder. It appears to contain theobromine or C7H8N4O2, sugars in C6H12O6 and C6H12O6 and... No, surely not! That's C8H10N4O2! Caffeine! What a complex food source!

[she smiles at him encouragingly, thinking that perhaps he's shy and she shouldn't draw attention to it for fear it will make him go back into his shell, so to speak

[she watches him, still smiling. he's just too adorable]

It's good, isn't it?

[she listens to his list of ingredients, some of which she's never heard of before. but there are so many things here she's never heard of before]
