By now, the gods have probably done enough weird crap to you while you're asleep for you to be a little suspicious- but it's not like you can just not sleep, especially when there are a few supernatural forces making your eyes droopy and your body feel heavy.

And now, when you fall asleep, you'll wake up somewhere else and you'll likely have quite a different temperament- you'll be younger, maybe a little more naive and innocent, and you won't exactly remember all the wild stuff that's happened to your adult self. Maybe now you'll be a little more trusting and emotional, hm? The gods could definitely use a little boost in power, and what better way to do it than to harness the power of overemotional kiddos!

Or maybe you aren't affected at all and find yourself surrounded by youths. What are you going to do when your best friend doesn't know how to cook for themselves? Or your bitter rival is throwing a temper tantrum because they broke their favorite toy? Nobody asked for this kind of responsibility, but think about what would happen if nobody was around to take care of these babies...

[ Oof, she almost did run into her! Five years old and very, very small, a bright-eyed Diana looks up at her when she almost bounces off her legs, giving the stunningly beautiful lady her toothiest, most cheeky grin. Is the lady one of the other Amazons? She looks like it; but she isn't one of her tutors, which makes her an ally of sorts in her book. ]

Excuse me. [ A princess must always have good manners, she's learned, and it will not do to be rude. ] I'm looking for Mother. Do you know where she is?

[ Hello, precious thing. Dany can't help but smile when Diana nearly bumps into her, gazing up at Daenerys and smiling politely. ]

I may. [ Likely not, though, considering all of the children today who have apparently lost their mothers. ] Will you tell me more about her?

[durare]

She's a queen! With long golden hair like yours. But hers is darker.

[ Diana puffs up proudly, her smile becoming a toothy grin as she takes the chance to slide her small hand into hers. ] Are you a queen of this land? I don't know what this place is.

[lemontree]

[ She has no issue with taking Diana's hand, and so she offers it a little, affirming squeeze. ]

There is no queen in Hadriel. There are only gods. [ If you believe in that sort of thing. ] I will keep you company, though, until we can find your mother.
