What's the weirdest call you've ever gotten? Or was that the naked yoga chicks?

Naked yoga was definitely the most bizarre call I got for piloting out of there.

Probably a custody battle over one of those mounted singing fish plaques. A couple was breaking up and they couldn't decide who got the stupid fish and started shooting at each other.

No one got the fish. Damn thing is in our evidence locker and I swear it still goes off sometimes and we've ripped out the batteries and pulled all the wires.

[Also true fact - same woman used those things rigged up to a lock in order to secure her bunker in New Dawn]

She's pretty obsessed with fishing.

Though the haunted part might be Rook fucking with us by sneaking batteries back into it. The shooting was definitely a thing.

Fish pranks are not fun after a twelve hour shift and it's one am and that thing starts fucking singing and scaring the shit out of you.

He got stuck on desk duty filing all our paperwork for three weeks once. The Sheriff has no sense of humor whatsoever.

That in itself is actually kinda funny, not gonna lie. And hey, you didn't have to do paperwork for three weeks, right? That counts as a win.

I've... heard that time doesn't move forward back where we came from, as long as we're here. Not really sure how much I believe that, or if it's even a good thing if it's true? I guess it depends.

Someone also told me that we don't remember this when we go home. So it's like we never even left.

I don't know which part of that is more horrifying, that the world is paused while we're here, or that it's gonna fuck with our minds even when we've left.

...You know, I'd say that the world being paused is worse, if only because not remembering this place if we go back doesn't sound all that horrible. At the same time though, I don't like the idea of forgetting all the people I met here? So... actually, that's a tough one.

Gotta really suck for people who made friends here that they don't even get to remember.

I guess it would depend on how long you're here for. If you're here for years it might be better for it to be paused, but for the people who are only here a few weeks... I dunno. I guess if you don't remember it you don't want to try and explain missing time and missing memories.

What I wanna know is like, what happens when someone who died back home ends up here? Would time stop for their world too? None of this stuff really makes any sense.
