August 15th; It's a Spooky Party!
Who: Castiel and YOU. ALL OF YOU.
What: It's a party! It was going to be a fun game of Twister party, but now it's a spoopy party. This is a massive mingle, so please feel free to write your own starters! And feel free to jump on the party game headers as well, or include them in your starters too!
Where: The bar!
When: August 15th
Warnings: ALL THE WARNINGS. No, I lie. Alcohol, truth or dare, people falling on each other, scary stories maybe and snogging in a closet. And talking about feelings. Please add your own warnings to your comment thread headers and I will add them to the list!
Whether or not the lights were off, Castiel was determined to go ahead with his plan to cheer up the residents of Hadriel, and get them interacting with each other. He'd made his plans a week in advance, and when it came right down to it, the idea of whether or not he would allow Fear to get in the way of having fun was practically moot. Of course he wouldn't. It was far simpler to be oblivious, far easier to overcome fear - at least his own, if not the god - with amusement, and companionship.
It threw a bit of a monkey wrench into his plans, and was, it had to be said, particularly devastating for his personal party trick in particular. How would his "pull my finger" joke work now? But he was determined to soldier on, and that meant that the bar was taken over by an eager angel, complete with food that had been collected from the orchard, and around the town, a pack of cards, a bag full of pebbles, a bunch of sticks with tiny carvings on them, and as much paint as he had left over from his aborted attempt to redecorate the Winchester apartment.
Not much of a party, but that was what guests were for. And party games. And alcohol, obviously--that was why it was being held at a bar.
So maybe they'd have to bring their own light, and perhaps people might take advantage of the spooky mood and audience to tell some of those stories that Fear wanted people to share, or to play horrid tricks on each other...but so long as things didn't turn into a remake of Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead, or House on Haunted Hill, they were probably fine. Actually, scratch that, so long as it didn't turn into any horror movie ever, they were probably fine.
But then, with Twister, Truth or Dare and Poker (any of which you can add "strip" in front of and they will be infinitely more fun) as available gaming options, perhaps it was a horror movie already.

GAME: IC At Least I've Never
So, booze in hand, it's your turn. The real question is: when it comes to At Least I've Never, is it winning to have never done some of these things, or a victory to get as trashed as possible? ]
[ ooc: please feel free to post a few at a time, and play the game in your own threads or use them as conversation starters! ]
Castiel | Supernatural
1. At least I've never eaten pie.
2. At least I've needed spectacles.
3. Never have I ever had sex.
4. Never have I ever had a mother.
5. At least I've never been grounded.
6. Never have I ever lost my shoe.
[ Lowering the tone straight out of the gate. You're welcome. ]

After a while, though, he swaps the ineffective alcohol with a bottle of some condiment or another, "specially" prepared in such a way that'll help it to imitate some of the less elegant effects of getting stone-cold plastered.
Again: totally worth it.
Sans is also just as good at this game as his grinning exterior would imply.]
Never have I ever written something in Times New Roman.
[And that's just to start with. As the party goes on, he starts counting increasingly improbable non-achievements off on his phalanges.]
Never have I ever done a load of laundry.
Never have I ever eaten human food.
Never have I ever failed to land a punchline.
Never have I ever opened my mouth.
[Yeah. That's right.]

GAME: IC Truth or Dare
It's meant to be fun, guys. But on the other hand, how better to play along with Fear's demand for this event? Dare your friends to tell a spooky story...or dare them to go and throw up on his altar. Okay, don't do that.
Alternatively, this game may be played at some point in the evening with chopsticks, in which one character selects the "King" chopstick, with a crown carved into it, and therefore earns the right to dare one of his fellows. Please feel free to have your character playing either version, or specify if you'd rather stick to one. ]
[ ooc: Feel free to write a starter for this, or just post an empty top level. Your character is now open to be given requests for truth or dare! When asked "Truth or dare", answer wisely, depending on who's asking! ]

ota;
Truth is what will make her uncomfortable. She won't give any indication as such and she's good at omitting things, definitely, but... It almost feels like an exercise in deciding if things here will be as they've always been. The others had finally gotten her to open up and they aren't here now; being honest to a whole new batch of people is a terrifying concept. Being that vulnerable all over again is... a lot, right now. She may try yet old habits also die hard. Just like her. ]

GAME: IC Seven Minutes in Heaven
Well, maybe not everyone. Maybe some people are playing Twister instead. Or hiding outside in the dark trying not to get involved in any of this shameless madness. ]
[ ooc: Congratulations, your character is now in a dark closet. The next character to enter is their partner for Seven Minutes in Heaven. Be nice! Or don't. This is the middle of a Fear event, after all, and people are definitely afraid of the dark. ]
Castiel | Supernatural
Just be aware that he is innocent and precious and wants to follow the rules and fit in with his peer group. Be nice to the poor, sad, pining-for-his-best-friend angel. Or at least be aware that if seven minutes of to-the-letter snogging happens, AND IT VERY WELL MIGHT, Cas will be facing consequences.
DRAMATIC MUSIC PLAYING.
In any case, here he is, standing in the dark. Not that it makes a great deal of difference, given that he doesn't see things the same way as everyone else. But hey, at least close his eyes, and pretend really hard. ]

MINGLE: Are you afraid of the dark?
But not necessarily everyone is trying to do just that. In a corner of the bar, a little cluster of bloodied candles sit in the middle of a round table, and this little enclave has become the focus of all the worst of the spookiness going on around here. As people peer across the light into the glowing faces of their companions, perhaps they're inspired by the urge to tell that story about Chainsaw Jack and his three fingered friend... ]

Something about vandalizing public spaces.
In any case, he's more than happy to answer questions about what he's doing, even if this is all an adventure to him either way. He's never held a party before, has no idea if what he's doing it right, or even convenient. He's sure he could be stepping on someone's toes, but his intentions are good: bring people together, get them playing and having fun, and maybe they'd forget their pain for five minutes. Making friends was always far better than the alternative. ]

But he'd decided to give this one a chance. There was something about morale and community, and given their current circumstances, being together in one place didn't seem like such a bad idea. His bottle of beer was meant to last the entire night, but then he'd chosen 'dare', and his dare was apparently to have another drink, and daring Steve Rogers to do just about anything means watching him do it or die trying.
He's kind of wobbly on his stool, and there's a little flush on his otherwise pale skin. But he has to admit, he's not having such a bad time.]

Plus, he has no idea if other ghouls are around.
So he can be found around:
a) sitting at a corner, hoping nobody notices him that much. He is a wallflower, after all, and this is definitively not the sort of environment he is used to.
b) Asking at the bar for coffee. Indeed, while everyone is drinking, he is looking for coffee; black, no sugar, no scream, nothing other than just black coffee. And if that fails, he will ask for water. What a party guy he is! ]

[ Rose wonders if caffeine affects his body the same way it does humans though. She can smell it on him that he's a non-human, after all, but she doesn't make any indication of it. Especially since she can't peg down what he is by scent alone. Strange.
She knows she needs a lot of caffeine for it to work. Just like she needs a lot of alcohol to feel any of its effects. Thankfully, it always tasted disgusting straight so there's not much of a difference there anymore. Still. ]

People are having fun here tonight, and she's nursing a light beer at the counter, consciously keeping out of the way of others, and not entirely certain about how to break the ice with people. See, being a telepath is one thing, and being sociable is an entirely different thing altogether.
But she's observing the people anyway, curious as to just what kinds of people have made their way to this place, picking up on fragments of thoughts, an outsider looking in. But when someone comes up beside her, she speaks up first. ]

He doesn't drink alcohol or make much of an overt effort to truly mingle. He's more of a skulker, hanging around the sidelines, more likely to listen to someone else's interaction than participate in his own. He doesn't look terribly approachable or friendly, but he does look hungry, haggard and perpetually on-edge. He is here because he feels like it's a practical way to spend his time, after all, and not to have fun.
It's doubtful that he even knows what having fun is, which is a touch ironic for someone who presents so childishly in spite of being in his 20s.
He's probably eavesdropping on you right now and looking absorbed enough in your conversation to be memorizing it. He doesn't seem to have the social awareness to be particularly subtle about it, staring directly at you. Do you continue to flirt, joke, or play your drinking game with your partner? Do you invite him to join in, or to piss off? The choice is yours, but without action he is likely to continue hanging around like a pale, uninvited ghost.]
