Delight volunteering to go off to spy has been a somber moment for Hadriel indeed- but she doesn't want you to be sad for her! As a matter of fact, it's time for joy- and we all know that Delight's favorite way to pass the time is with a party!

So, on the morning of May 24th, she'll be trying to inspire everyone here to get their blood pumping a little in a fun way with a constant stream of partying! To you old timers here, the party will be rather similar to Delight's resurrection event, with a few notable twists.

Don't worry, don't worry- there's still going to be patent-pending Delight Energy Shots at the new bar, but with this party, the longer you go, the harder you go.

See, Rage wants to get in on the action a little too, and what better way than by exerting her own influence on the party and making it the most wild, savage bash you've ever been to? As the party goes on, and as you keep dancing, you find yourself unable to stop. It's not forced, but... you need to keep partying, to keep upping the ante. Before you know it, you've thrown rocks through windows, smashed a bottle over someone's head, and sharpened your pitchfork for that local mob you've always wanted to join.

Be careful out there. It's dangerous to get swept up in on the action- and maybe even more dangerous to try and avoid it. You've read about mob mentalities, haven't you?

[Magnus takes a tumble when the dinosaur carrying him suddenly isn't a dinosaur anymore, just kind of rolling into a bellyflop on the grass ungracefully. Ouch.

Good thing he's hopped up on energy drinks and adrenaline, because he bounces back fast, pulling himself up to his feet with a groan, rubbing his head where he knocked it during his unsuccessful tuck and roll. Yeah, he's definitely gonna have some bumps on his head tomorrow.

He regains focus when he hears Taako call his name, and he looks up at the tree in question. The tree that defeated Dupree. The tree that will taste their vengeance.]

Yeah!!! Get it!!!

[He charges the tree and rolls a fucking 7 on unarmed so he punches the fuck out of it but doesn't so much as make a dent. Dully, he realizes he's fucking up his hand, so he stops to check out the damage.]

Ohh man, this tree is like... the worst foe we've faced yet. Worse than the giant purple worm, even.

[Yep, his knuckles are bleeding.]

[Taako ends up right-side-up in a quick tangle of limbs as Magnus subdues the tree, getting to his feet in a wave and using the Umbra Staff to steady himself a little as he stands. Okay, no, he's got this. Magnus can punch shit all he wants, but he has magic.

And right now, he's much more intent on making this look awesome than, uh... splash damage.

So he points the Umbra Staff at the tree, casts fireball and rolled a natural fucking 20. If Magnus can see Taako casting this in the moment before this absolutely oversized ball of fire hits, it looks more like the fire's in Taako's eyes rather than reflecting from it. This is intoxicating. This is exhilarating.

This is too much power to give an emotional addled wizard.

The fireball slams into the tree and it explodes into flame and wooden shrapnel, shooting still-firey pieces of bark and branch all over and igniting everything it hits. Taako is laughing like a madman. This is the best he's felt in years.]

GET FUCKED, YOU HUNK OF WOOD! TAAKO RULES!

[His hands are in the air like he just don't care. There's fire falling on like, all sides of him. This is a disaster.]

[Magnus dives the second he sees a fireball coming in his direction, but he gets all the hair on his shoulder singed off in the process. Also a nice angry red burn for his troubles. He doesn't care, he barely feels it, he eats fire damage for breakfast. But then the tree fucking explodes and burning wood shrapnel pelts him in the face and he sputters, fucking eating it spectacularly onto the ground once again. He's covered in splinters head to fist. Very hot splinters.

But he just lays back and laughs uncontrollably, bordering on maniacal cackling.]

FUCK!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!! FUCK TREES!! FUCK YOU MERLE!!! WHEREVER YOU ARE!!! BAHAHAHA!!!

[See, Magnus is fine, and the thought of worrying about him is quickly chased from his mind as another destructive surge courses through him. Man, why didn't he ever let loose like this previously? This is awesome. He's got a ridiculous level of power, nothing's coming at him here, he just needs to have some fun.]

Yeah, fuck Merle! We don't need him to have fun! We've got-- we've got all the party points we're ever gonna need! Right here!

[The burning tree is now Party Central, apparently. Along with the similar, smaller fires surrounding them.]

This city can't hold us! We're fuckin' unstoppable!
