Who: All characters participating in the field trip event during February
What: The event log for the Field Trip event
Where: Outside of the city, moving toward new and exciting cities!
When: Feb 16th-28th
Warnings: None

After Love's post to the network, you'll find motorcycles and some food supplies stocked and ready for the taking. Your call to action is pretty significant as it's the first time you'll be outside of the city for any significant period of time after being in it for so long.

Nevertheless, you have supplies to pack and a big checklist of things to bring because there sure as hell isn't anything you can use as food or shelter out there in the desert. Hope you have some extra suntan lotion and sleeping bags too- you'll want them after a long day of driving! The travel should be fairly uneventful, but there's always lots of camping and survival skills that can come in handy for this part.

Once you get to the cities, you know your mission: locate the Hope temple and place one of your orbs onto the altar. Then, you wait- survive for another week or so and hope your supplies don't run too thin because there's no food out here. After that time is passed, then you can go home and restore Hope like the lovely little ~~emotion battery~~ allies you are!

[The wine Rey makes at the Speakeasy also doesn't suck, all things considered. But he doesn't have a ton to trade for good bottles of that.]

[He could be blowing smoke up her ass, but something tells Elena he's being sincere, more or less, and it makes her smile.]

[He snickers, still insufferably smug.]

[He puts a hand on his chest, fingertips just touching with an incredible crook of the wrist.]

I’m Taako. You know, from TV?

[Elena laughs, not particularly starstruck but definitely amused. She can't deny he's got charisma.]

Then I'll look forward to it, Taako from TV.

[For having a score of like, 12 or 13, he sure wears it well huh?]

[He’s also great with words. Taako puts his hands on his hips, looking around the ruined landscape.]

So uhh, what’re you doing out here anyway? Just wanted to see what’s up? Nate around or back ’n the city?

I like my tits where they are, thank you.

[Nate probably does too, but he can feel up his own if he really needs to.]

He's around here somewhere. [She waves her hand in a vague gesture.]

If this is where we live now, I want to know more about it. And it was good to get away from the city for a while. And it's good to have some time together alone.

[He does actually listen to her reasoning, for once curious and not just asking to fill space or to cut her off. He doesn’t harbor any niceties for the liches in charge, but he wonders if the people around him do. Or well, just in case they do. You can all be better than this, guys, make him owe ya.]

Yeah, yeah, that uh, tracks. Who knows what the fuck they’re doing back in no-longer-cave city. ’Sides, other people get mad when you level a city block and uh, they’re in it.

[She'd been in and out of consciousness, and Nate was technically the one who leveled the city, but she does recall the Guardians being pretty pissed off about it.]

How come you're not together? I thought you guys were a team.

[He kinda arches an eyebrow at her, like he's surprised she knows a lot about property destruction, but if she's with Nate she must know something about property destruction, so he shrugs and moves on.]

Mags wanted to bring the scooter around. I think Merle's taking a nap? I don't know. Just because I travelled with these chucklefucks for a while doesn't mean I'm their mom.

[He really dislikes travelling alone, but at least when he knows where they are, he's fine.]
