What: Lucretia's Ice Festival, pending rebanding by the Taaco Twins
Where: Outside Lucretia's house, Imported Housing 4-3

Warnings: Hopefully none, God save us, it's a party
She'd organized the Midsummer Festival at the Bureau of Balance for years, so this should be old hat. Of course, Lucretia doesn't have a full staff and the resources of an entire moonbase at her disposal here. Still, she seems to have managed to pull things together fairly well.
The house is open, but the party's clearly centered in the backyard, which truly has been transformed into a cool oasis from the jungle heat. The grass is frosted and shimmering, crunching satisfyingly underfoot and never melting. There are a couple of snow forts stocked with snowballs, a small skating rink, and what looks like a sort of ice slip-n-slide, looking as dangerous as it does fun.
There's also a decorative ice fountain between two tables stocked with food, and thanks to Rey, a donation of beer from the speakeasy chilling in its own ice cooler alongside a little minibar. Lucretia herself is hovering near the snacks, nodding politely at the guests and generally supervising to make sure everything's going well.
[ OOC - this is a mingle log, so post toplevels and tag around! If you have an idea for a cool Ice Thing that may or may not be strictly up to safety codes, feel free to write it in! ]

For the second time since he'd been spirited away from Bear Den, Carlisle found himself in a jungle. Having spent his entire life in the mountains, he hadn't been ready the first time: no amount of reading could have prepared him for the sweltering heat, no books having accurately described how the atmosphere was so wet and stifling that even the shade of the canopy above brought little respite. Despite that, even he had to admit it was, thus far, better than the camp near the Tranquility, as the river wasn't acidic, the jungle wasn't inhabited by insectoid natives (that he knew of), and the citizens weren't being psychically attacked by a living abomination of a ship every minute of every day.
Of course, being put through the wringer by the gods on a regular basis wasn't that much of an improvement, but Carlisle was willing to take what he could get in this circumstance. He still had his house, and that house had a bath. Unlike the makeshift camp near the wreck of the Tranquility, he could wash away the sweat and grime of the day with ease. The value of that luxury was absolutely immeasurable.

What: Ahsoka gets to know the jungle and communes with it.

When: Anytime during during the first two weeks of the month; if you have a preference, let me know!

At least this planet's environment is more suited to her body; she doesn't appreciate the extremity of the heat, but she was made for warmth and abundant foliage, even if she'd left that behind at an early age to be a Jedi.
There's a more important reason for her to explore, however. It's a jungle, and they may have to fight in it. Best to get to know the place a little, and see if anything changes.
A
It's easier to move amongst the trees. Ahsoka jumps between them quickly; if you're there, you might hear the rustling, as she's not too concerned about stealth. She'll pop out if you need help or get curious.

The forest is full of plenty, but Ahsoka still finds a clearing to meditate in. It's refreshing, being able to feel so much life around her that isn't part of a town or city or base. She hasn't had many opportunities for that even before arriving here. Find her crosslegged, eyes closed, and unworried too, even if you and/or a strange animal approach.
